To have the announcement sent out as an email, please select the ‘Notify group members via email’ option while creating the announcement.
Freshservice provides the option to create announcements on the portal to keep users posted on important information. Please click on the announcement button in the right end of the dashboard. In the slide out panel that appears, you can create a new announcement, schedule it for a future date and specify who the announcements should be visible to.
You can click on the Announcements section on the dashboard and click edit next to each announcement and either choose to edit or delete the announcement from the portal.
