This feature allows our Virtual agent to share PDF documents directly in Slack chats and channels. To enable this feature, we require your authorization within Slack.
Why this authorization is necessary:
The authorization grants our virtual agent the necessary permissions to securely share PDF documents within Slack.
This streamlines the delivery of document related service requests directly within your slack workspace.
Steps to authorize:
Log into your Freshservice account, and navigate to Admin → Channels → Virtual Agent
Under the Usage Tracker you will see the option to Authorize Slack so you can avail of the latest features.
You will be re-directed to slack to carry out the authorization. Ensure that you have the correct workspace selected in the top right of the screen in the case where you have multiple Slack workspaces.
Once you click on Allow, you will be ready to receive documents directly on Slack that originated as a Document Service Request.
