This feature allows our Freddy AI Agent to share PDF documents directly on Slack chats and channels. To enable this feature, we require your authorization within Slack.
Why this authorization is necessary?
The authorization grants our Freddy AI Agent the necessary permissions to securely share PDF documents within Slack.
This streamlines the delivery of document related service requests directly within your Slack workspace.
Steps to authorize:
1. Log on to your Freshservice account, and go to Admin > Channels > Servicebot for Slack.
2. Under the Servicebot for Slack title section, click Authorize on the disclaimer.
3. You will be re-directed to Slack to carry out the authorization. Ensure that you have the correct workspace selected on the top right of the screen, in case you have multiple Slack workspaces.
4. Once you click Allow on the permissions page, you will be able to receive documents directly on Slack that originated as a document service request.
