Prerequisites
1. Only admins on Freshservice can enable the integration
2. Calendar permissions required need to be configured on Calendly
Installation and setup
The Calendly installation and setup happen in two separate steps listed below:
Installation
- Go to Admin and search for Apps. Click on the Apps section.
- Once the marketplace opens, search for 'Calendly'. Click on it to open the app listing.
- Click on Install. It will add the app to your Freshservice account. The Calendly widget will appear on the ticket details page.
Setup
- To configure the app, open any ticket. From the right side tab, open the Calendly widget.
- Click on Authorize. This will take you to the Calendly login page, where you can validate and authorize your Calendly credentials.
- Once this is done, the set up is complete and Calendly is ready to use within Freshservice.
How to create and share a Calendly link
Open the Calendly widget from the ticket details page. Select the Calendly event type from the available options to add the Calendly event link to the ticket.
You can either copy the link from here and use it wherever needed or click on Generate Requester Reply to create an email draft with the Calendly link added to it.
How to edit the Calendly calendar details and permissions
Any update or change to the Calendly calendar needs to be configured directly on Calendly and cannot be edited from Freshservice.
