Today's users have little scope to understand how and where projects get stuck. With multiple project task statuses, identifying and addressing process and project lifecycle bottlenecks is even more confusing.


To address this, we have come up with certain agile metrics that will help users identify the time spent in statuses of tasks and projects as a whole. 


The below screenshot shows where statuses defining the start and completion of work (as per a workflow) can be set up on the Settings page:



Agile metrics available in Freshservice are as below:

Number of work items that transitioned to 'Work Completed at' status in a given duration

Number of Work items that transitioned to 'Work started at' status in a given duration

Time Spent in Status

(Not dependent on the above configurations.) Will record an issue's time spent per status.  


The trends with these metrics will be available for users to study in the form of a Curated Report as well. This will help focus on process efficiency, project optimization and addressing bottlenecks as needed.

Note: Agile metrics in Project Analytics will be available only by Jan 31, 2024.
