In order to fix a faulty asset or change an existing asset, users can now create either a new incident or a change request right from the asset's detail page.


A quick guide in creating an Incident/ Change for an Asset


  • Log into your freshservice portal, Navigate to Assets -> Inventory -> Asset (Andrea's Laptop)
  • From the Asset's detail page, click Create New -> New Incident/ New Change.


  • Fill in all the ticket details for the form field and click Create.
  • Once the incident or change is created, you can view them in the requests tab.
