An integral part of managing and optimizing your SaaS applications would be understanding app usage on the user-level based on varied criteria. With filters for SaaS users, you can now slice and dice through user-level SaaS usage using the following filters:
Department
Usage %
Source
Assigned Date
First Seen
Last Seen
License type (Available only for Microsoft 365 application discovered using its direct integration)
Understanding user filters
Filtering using User fields
Filter and view users by making use of user field values as criteria.
Ready-to-view filters
Freshservice enabled you with pre-populated views to quickly filter users and understand their usage.
Note:
All pre-populated filters to track usage (Low activity, inactive, Active) make use of the usage% filters to filter users. Updating this filter value will apply the new conditions and the pre-populated view conditions will be overridden. When a ready-to-view filter is over-ridden by other filters, it’s indicated by an asterisk right next to it.
Here you can see that the usage% filter was updated to less than 40%, the ready-to-view filter Low activity filters (criteria: usage% less than 30%) is overridden and is denoted by an asterisk next to it.
