At times browsers block the Project Management module from loading because it is loaded as an iFrame inside Freshservice. The latest versions of Chrome and Firefox block third party cookie access when using Incognito mode.

Also, Safari browser sometimes blocks iframes as part of Apple’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) safeguards even though the site you are attempting to visit is a legitimate one as in this scenario.

So if you are unable to load “Projects”, “Project Tasks”, or “Project Analytics”, you can easily modify a few settings in your browser and get these working.

If you are using Google Chrome

Check your cookie settings

1. Go to Settings and then to Privacy and Security
2. Select any one of the below options
    a) Allow all cookies

    b) Block third party cookies in Incognito
    c) Block third party cookies

Note: To load New-Gen Project Management, Scroll below to 'Site that can always use cookies' and add the Freshservice domain and select the 'Include third-party cookies on this site' checkbox and click 'Add'.

4. Reload the page you are attempting to open

You should be able to see the page is loaded successfully.

If this doesn't work, try modifying Chrome flags by following the instructions below.

  1. In your browser's address bar, type in chrome://flags and press Enter.

  2. Search for the keyword "same site"

  3. You should be able to see three settings. Ensure that all 3 settings listed below are set to "Default"

    1. SameSite by default cookies

    2. Cookies without SameSite must be secure

    3. Schemeful Same-Site

  4. This will prompt you to reload your browser, so make sure to save your work before doing this.
