The Calendar or My Work feature in Freshservice helps you view and manage your everyday tasks, project tasks, changes, problems, releases, and tickets. Additionally, you can schedule maintenance window, blackout window, and change advisory board (CAB) meeting related to changes in your work calendar.

Access your work and on-call calendar
1. Login to your Freshservice account and click the My Work icon on the top menu.
2. Select Work Calendar or On-call Calendar.
The Calendar page opens with a default view. The following two figures highlight how to view and manage the work calendar and the on-call calendar.
1) Select Work Calendar or On-call Calendar from this dropdown. 2) Switch between single view or group view. 3) Select a relevant option from this dropdown. For example: - If single view is selected on Work Calendar, you can select your name or Unassigned. - If group view is selected on Work Calendar, you can select any team, such as Change Team or Database Team. - If single view is selected on the On-call Calendar, you can select your name or another agent. - If group view is selected on the On-call Calendar, search and select a group. 4) Select a relevant option from this dropdown. For example: - Select Changes or Tickets if you're on Work Calendar. This is applicable for both single view and group view. - Select All Shifts or Schedules if you're on the On-call Calendar. This is applicable only for single view. 5) (Only applicable to Work Calendar) Select either the Planned dates or the Due date option from this dropdown. 6) Switch between Day, Week, or Month view. Use the left or right arrow icons to view the previous or next day/week/month. 7) (Only applicable to On-call Calendar) Click Who's on-call now? and select a group from the Agent group dropdown to see which agents are currently on-call. 8) (Only applicable to On-call Calendar) Use the Export option to select a timeline and export the on-call calendar data.
Add calendar events or tasks
Calendar events or tasks, such as changes or tickets can only be viewed or edited on the Calendar page.
Note: You'll need to add a task directly to a ticket, problem, change, or release. However, you can edit a task within the calendar after it's created. See How to create tasks in Freshservice for information on adding tasks.
Edit calendar events or tasks
You can view details of a calendar event/task and edit tasks on the Calendar page.
1. Go to My Work > Work Calendar (or) My Work > On-call Calendar. For example, Work Calendar.
2. Hover over a task to view some of the task details, such as Planned Start Date, Due by, Status, and so on.
3. Click View details to edit a task. The task details pane opens.
4. Edit the task details, such as Title, Description, Planned Effort, Groups, Agent, and so on.
Note: Click the link below the Description box to view the associated ticket, problem, change, or release (which opens in a new browser tab/window).
5. Click Save.
Schedule maintenance window, blackout window and CAB meeting
In your Work Calendar, you can schedule maintenance window, blackout window, and CAB meeting related to changes.
1. Go to My Work > Work Calendar.
2. Select the single view or group view icon.
3. (If you've selected the single view icon) Select your name, another agent, or unassigned from the dropdown next to it. For example, Unassigned.
4. (If you've selected the group view icon) Select any team from the dropdown next to it. For example, Change Team.
5. Then, select Changes from the subsequent dropdown.
6. Click +Schedule. Depending on the type of schedule you want to create, select one of the following: Maintenance Window, Blackout Window, or CAB Meeting.
