Office 365 Calendar Sync with Workload Management

From the Office 356 app, admins can choose to sync Tasks, Projects Tasks, Changes, Releases, Problems, Tickets & Schedule Meetings with Requesters to the calendars of their service desk agents

Projects Tasks can be synced on the basis of planned dates (i.e.start date or end date) only.

The items will be synced to the calendar when either of the dates are updated. Workload Management has to be enabled in order for Tasks, Problems and Tickets to have planned dates and sync them to the Office 365 calendar.

Tasks can be synced on the basis of planned dates as well as due date. If you have selected planned dates and workload management is disabled, planned dates will be removed from task forms and therefore the setting will be auto-updated to due date.

Google calendar sync with Workload Management

From the Google app, users can sync Tasks, Projects tasks, Changes, Releases, Problems & Tickets.

Tasks can be synced on the basis of both planned dates as well as due dates, whereas all other modules can be synced on the basis of planned dates only.

Workload Management has to be enabled in order for Tasks, Problems and Tickets to have planned dates and sync to the Google calendar.

Note: There is no option to schedule meetings with requesters from Google calendar.

Note: For both O365 & Google calendars

Only those items that are created or updated after the Office 365 or Google apps are installed, are synced. To ensure that items created before the app install are synced, users can update any field after the apps are installed.
