Freshdesk not registering incoming email (gmail)

I've seen a few threads on this, but haven't found a resolution.  I want to try out FreshDesk and just set everything up.  I followed the steps to setup email forwarding and after adding the FD support email, an email was registered as a ticket on my FD dashboard to confirm the email forwarding.  So at this point, the email forwarding was setup and confirmed.  I thought I was good to go, but then realized support emails werent coming through.  They are hitting my GSuite inbox, support@[domain].com, but aren't being registered in FD as tickets.  I tried then adding a personal gmail account to see if forwarding for that, and it was successful.  So, my conclusion here is that the email is getting to FD but they're not registering as tickets.  What gives?

When sending an email to our configured support email address (support@domain.com) it is not creating a ticket in Fresh Desk. The email address has been verified.

I see this issue in many threads, yet no answer how to fix this. We miss several orders because of this, which is not good for business. 

Recently we've had a couple of clients using Gsuite with verified email addresses have their replies to ticketing emails go nowhere. I recorded a video chat with one such client where he demonstrated his process and we confirmed that his email was not received by our ticketing portal. This has caused these clients to question the efficacy of using our FreshDesk portal and it has forced us to re-engage with them through inefficient processes that FreshDesk was intended to help us move away from. As Samatha observed 6 months ago, this is not good for business.

Hi. If I have understood your query correctly, then probably you can try setting up an automated workflow between Freshdesk and Gmail so that when a new email comes into your inbox, a new ticket is registered on Freshdesk. I have one such workflow set up and it works fine with my work email. I am using Automate.io to set up Freshdesk and Gmail integration. You can use this or any other no-code automation tools like Tray or IFTTT to set up such a workflow.
