When you associate a CI with an existing incident, it defaults to only showing the requester's CIs, which is very helpful.
However, when you create a new incident and go to associate a CI, it doesn't exhibit this same behaviour. It displays all CIs with no option to filter by the requester's CIs.
Can this please be fixed so that it defaults to displaying a requester's CIs for both new and existing incidents?
Thanks - Simon
Thank you for bringing this to our notice. We have passed this to our Engineering Team and working on the options to display the User's Asset detail while submitting New Ticket.
Will keep the thread posted on updates.
Can you please give me an update on this?
I see that the UI for associating CIs to a ticket has been revamped (https://support.freshservice.com/support/discussions/topics/325721). However it doesn't resolve this issue.
This enhancement is to optimize the search for Agents however, wouldn't default to the requester's CI. I cross verified this with our Engineering team and seems this functionality should be available over the future enhancements.
