It would be great to have an agent side export feature for KB articles... export to PDF or something like that so that they can be backed up and retain images and formatting.
Thanks for reaching out to us. Please note that we don't have a direct export option but a workaround is to use the 'Print this Article' feature on the customer portal (not in the agent side as you requested).
In Google Chrome, the print article feature will additionally have 'Save as PDF' option as one of the printer destination option (as shown below) using which the articles can be exported as PDF. For other browsers, there are certain third-party software which can be installed to save as pdf directly to achieve this workaround.
It is not necessary an ideal workaround to backup your entire knowledge base as you will have to save individual articles. However, kindly let us know whether this helps.
