The announcements feature doesn't seem to have had much love lately. A few ideas to make it all the more useful:

• Provide a way to integrate the announcements feed into an intranet page (RSS feed or something similar)
• Option to email the announcement to agents only, while still keeping it visible for requesters
• Option to generate and include a calendar file (ICS) in the announcement email
