API - Change Category


After create a ticket without fill category field,

when i need update this same ticket , i can't because is set NULL.

But if i manually change category to another one and try update from API is work.

Anyone already had this issue?

We are sorry we couldn't get back to you immediately on this one.

Could you please confirm if you are using our API v2 documentation to update the ticket? If yes, can you also check the Category field is a mandator field. When using API v2 to update a ticket, we expect all the mandatory fields are updated with a value. In your case since the ticket category is set to Null, it might be causing an issue.

 Please do let us know if this is not the case.
