Right now you can add only events which can turn up once, or schedule something monthly.
There are some checks we need to perform yearly.

Absolutely! But I think you can do this to already to some extent. You just need to select which months you want this to happen on. In our case it's an expiring SSL certificate that we want a ticket opened for.
