Tasks are a great way to keep our team up-to-date on some of the minor work needed to be completed before an Incident Ticket can be closed.
There are some instances where the built-in statuses for Tasks aren't enough. For example, in some cases, a Task assigned to another agent will be declined (as it's a request to perform a task). The task technically is not complete, therefore selecting "Complete" isn't accurate. We don't want to delete the Task as it's still a that is sort of being actioned.
Having the option to add custom Task statuses would resolve this issue and help track Tasks appropriately.
