Ability to add system requester fields to service catalog items

I would really like to be able to add existing fields like Location, Department, etc to service catalog items instead of having to recreate them in custom list fields.


An example of how we use this is to manage New Hires. I would like to have the person filling out the request complete the location from the existing list, so that when updates are made they reflect in any catalog items with that field.
