Attachments for Service Requests

In my company there's a big requirement for paperwork that is signed with a secure digital signature and certificate, and this includes IT processes like the provisioning of new user accounts. It would be really helpful to have the option to add an Attach File field to Service Requests to allow our users to attach signed forms authorising account provisioning, etc. as part of the initial submission.



Hi Luke,

Have you configured your service requests as catalog items in the Service Catalog module?. If so, your requesters will be allowed to attach files if the item has been configured to allow attachments.

How to enable the "Attachment" field for an item?

* Go to Admin > Service Catalog > open "Item X" > enable "Attachment Visible" > Save

* After doing this, your requesters will see the option to attach files while requesting for "Item X".
