Option to automatically set Service Catalog tickets and Service Requests

When using the Service Catalog, it would be nice to have a configuration item to automatically default the Type of Service Request for any items created through the Service Catalog. I have had to build about a million rules to do this, and it is pretty annoying. This should be a no-brainer. :)
