To ensure a consistent product experience, we are renaming CIs (Configuration Items) to Assets across Freshservice.

Please find below the list of places within Freshservice where the terminology change would be applicable. 
Kindly note that this is only a terminology change and this would not affect the functionality of the module in any way.  
 

  • Existing places within product where we replace 'Assets' with 'Inventory':
    • Sidebar On hover - Assets text will be displayed
    • In Asset detail page breadcrumbs , Assets text will be displayed


  • Existing places within product where we replace 'CI' with 'Assets'.
